I just finished The Custom of the Country by Edith Wharton and it was fantastic, probably my favorite of hers that I've read so far. I think I'm going to read Beloved by Toni Morrison next. Oooh, have you read Beloved before? It's incredible. A little hard to follow in places because stream-of-conscious, but totally gorgeous. And depressing. It's a pretty sad book, iirc.

Almost half way done with Dracula. Need to reread The Birds for class too. I'm going to be reading Dracula about three times this semester. Oh god. I should have picked a shorter book to do an assignment on.

It's actually a huge oversight, the only of Toni Morrison's books I've read is The Bluest Eye, which I loved (but is also really sad). I'm hoping to read most of her work this year!

I'm reading "Pastrix" by Nadia Bolz-Weber Despite being about a Christian religion, I relate to it heavily.

I finished "Pastrix" and have moved onto "Meeting the Other Crowd" by Eddie Lenihan and Carolyn Eve Green. Though I may move onto finally reading the The Fairy Faith of the Celtic Countries...

Kencyrath series by P.C. Hodgell. Over half way through with the second book. Five books remain and two collections of short stories if I'm right.

Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy!!!! On the third book now "Life, the Universe, and Everything"! I have to say the series seemed to become a little darker near the end of the second book, right around the part where the team splits up. I don't know why, this is the second time I've read the series and I got that feeling before as well. It's just less uplifting. Still, I love this series! <3 The sarcasm and life observations within always feel so relevant.

Eee I need to read more of the Hitchhiker's Guide... I only listened to the radio version of it on a car ride, but I was in love!
