I know we have a bunch of writer types on here, so I thought I'd give you all a heads up on April's Camp NaNo session. Like November's NaNo, it's a push to write as much as possible and meet word count in a month. Unlike NaNo, it doesn't have to be a novel--nonfiction, short stories, scripts, and I think poetry are all welcome. And you can set your own word count, as low as 10k and basically as high as you want. You can also join a cabin, or a mini writer's group of up to 11 people. I'm running one this session, and if you want to join mine give me a shout and I'll add you as soon as March rolls around and prep stuff for April starts happening on site. campnanowrimo.org/

Oh man, I haven't tried to do NaNo in ages, but it may actually be worth it this year. We'll see how I'm doing on the jobhunting front by that point haha. Anyway I'm Tchy on Camp NaNo.

I've been meaning to give Camp NaNo a try. I always do the November one and then forget every year about this one. I'm Algae Volvox over there.

I'll definitely be doing Camp - my username is write.me.off over there. I managed to finish a novel for the July camp last year, so hopefully I'll be either finishing up the sequel or starting a new project in April!

I'm definitely tempted... I'm horrible at longer form writing but this would be a fun opportunity for doing lots of short stories.

I haven't decided yet if I'm doing Camp -- April is National Poetry Month, so that's the challenge I do, but I'm not sure I have it in me this year. Past experience says I'll probably end up doing it no matter whether it's a good idea ^^;; I'm Shahrizai on the NaNo site if you want to be writing buddies~

I usually do NaPoWriMo too but I'm taking a crack at Camp Nano this year. Or maybe I'll do both if I'm feeling particularly inclined toward decisions I regret, I guess we'll see. I'm already in a cabin but I'm jack daw on the site if you want to add me as a buddy.

I've done regular NaNoWriMo for eight years, but I haven't ventured into CampNaNo yet. Might give it a go this time around. Maybe reopen my project of writing a poem a day that I tried last year (N.B. Poetry and I have a long standing non-aggression/non-interaction pact so it was my way of attempting to reopen diplomatic relations).

Cabin assignment is in 14 hours! If you want to be part of Critta's cabin, take a look at this article and make sure you've followed the instructions—otherwise you might get placed in a different cabin by mistake.

Thank you for being on the ball with this Ciar Lionheart because I have not. XD Also my un over there is littleredkelpie, and let me know here or via pm or wherever if you definitely want to be in my cabin, because I would feel hella awkward just inviting everyone, lol.

I'm officially set up on the CampNNWM website -- username Shahrizai. If anyone wants to put me in a cabin, go for it; I'll be writing poetry and probably not talking much ^^;
