Adolphus, this might be something you'd be interested in - over the next few months I'm going to work on a visual storytelling of some of the key myths, very minimal word-wise, that I'll be offering online as an interactive piece. It's going to take a long time since I plan to do all the art myself and want to combine papercut, sculpture, and a few other things, but I'd love to have some people test it for clarity before I officially launch it! If you'd like to I can definitely keep you posted. I think I'm going to do The Second Battle of Mag Tuired as my first piece and if it's successful I'll do more. Basically one of my goals with my work in the polytheist space is to create materials for multiple learning styles. Just wanted to say that I think this is a fantastic idea I have Asperger's and dyspraxia/dyslexia, and although I can handle complex information, I am oddly stuck when it comes to reading myths from some cultures. Honestly, if it weren't for the Celtic Myth Podcast, I'd have found the Irish source material hard to deal with - I still do, with the tales that haven't been done in audio versions somewhere. (I finally made it through the Tain by reading a children's version first!) Which I always feel deeply guilty about admitting... but there it is. Illustrated or graphic novel versions of the myths sound amazing. I'd be happy to help test drive them. - Leithin I'm squishing my face with glee right now, heh. I will for sure keep you posted! I'm going to start doing a little low-level brainstorming this week, just so I can start getting a sense of the actual scope of work and where I want to begin in earnest.
