Hey guys, a quickie question.
Is there a way to change what your timezone is on the board? Or is it hard-set to the admin's timezone?

I know on some other Proboard forums it's in the setting option in your profile, but I don't see it here. :/

I googled this and there SHOULD be a way to do it from the account profiles, but we don't seem to have that option. I'm going to nose around the Admin Settings to see if I can fix this!

I've been digging around too and it's starting to look like this was an option on the older version of the forum that has been dropped for some unfathomable reason? Why proboards?

Oh, interesting. Hi @jenbeth5, The forum software uses your computer clock to determine the time zone. So visitors of the forum will automatically see the time stamps appear in their time zone when visiting your forum. The only time this won't be the case is if for some reason a visitor on your forum has javascript disabled, then the time stamps will appear in the default time zone you set. This will be an extremely rare instance, however, as a large majority of users will have javascript enabled when visiting your forum That would be why. I saw that it was saying -5 when I quoted someone, so is CT -5GMT for DST? (DST is in effect until November for [most of] the US.) It's typically said -6GMT, but I dunno if that's with DST or not.

Yep, that's because of DST. The UK hasn't had DST yet.
