Hello, I think I am being called by Dionysus, which seems odd to me, since I've been sort of establishing myself as an Irish Polytheist, but I am attempting to be an actress, and I have always admired him for that... Anyway, I have yet to contact him or do anything because I don't want to insult him by a) doing things wrong, and I also don't want to abandon Brigid and the work I have don't with the Fae. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

There's not, to my knowledge, any particular reason Hellenic polytheism/a Hellenic god can't be worshiped alongside Irish Polytheism. And there's no general reason to feel like worshiping Dionysus inherently means having to abandon Brigid -- you can do both, is what I'm getting at.
I'd suggest checking with Brigid however you normally communicate with her, if you feel like you need her permission or blessing (I don't know what your relationship with her is like obvs). After that, consider why you're feeling called to Dionysus -- a particular task, a particular aspect of growth, an upcoming challenge, something he wants you to do for him, etc. As necessary, ask him -- this is a point where I'd suggest getting someone else to divine for you, if possible, to get a more objective view. A temporary task Dionysus wants you to complete is a different request than him wanting you to add him to your personal worship indefinitely/forever, if that makes sense ^^
