I'd be interested in the finished prayer if you are willing to post it

Allec here it is, I hope you like it (it's fairly formal, because that seems to be what I end up with when doing Big Serious Magic Stuff, but hey, words are fun) "I raise my voice to Lugh, let him not turn away from me when my need is great— Lugh Lamfhada, your parents would not let themselves be kept from one another; you were fostered beneath the waves and on the hills, and in you the blood of all the peoples of Ireland was brought together. Your reach is long! Lugh Samildanach, you stood at the door of Tara and petitioned for entry; you would not turn away until you were granted the right to enter, you would not turn away until your skills were recognised, you would not turn away until you were welcome within in that high place! Wielder of the spear of victory, I raise my voice and my heart’s hope to you: reach out the long arm of your influence so that Jude may be granted permanent entry to Australia, part of our family for our life’s length— Do not turn away until Jude is granted the right to enter, do not turn away until their skills are recognised, do not turn away until they are welcome within. Work of my hands I will dedicate to you for this, bread and cloth I offer to you, Lugh of the Long Hand, the Many-Skilled: your name will be on my lips in praise." I'm planning on doing the ritual tomorrow, so far as I've worked it out at the moment it will involve knotwork and sigils, but I'm not quite sure of the finer details yet...

!!! That's a powerful pray! I wish you so much luck on the ritual and with getting your partner to Australia!
