Homestuck paganism and magic that is. I myself am not a Homestuck pagan, but I do find the things the Homestuck pagans get up to rather intriguing. They're one of the pcp groups that I like to look at the most. Probably because I am a furious Homestuck myself.
I will say that despite not being a Homestuck pagan myself, a Homestuck character is the sole fictional being I've made an offering to. Namely the Handmaid. I rather like the Handmaid. I'm attached to her and feel bad for her. She makes me think about the less pleasant aspects of my Gaelic polytheistic thing, as well as the less pleasant aspects of my Buddhist thing. Someone on tumblr was talking shit about pop culture paganism, and as a result I decided to say the hell with it. Let's make an offering solely out of spite. The Handmaid was the first I went to. I gave her a portion of raw steak. This I feel was particularly poignant, because even if she probably wouldn't want or really understand why anyone is offering her shit she would appreciate people spiting others. All she's got left is spite, and why the hell herself be made into a giant fuck you?
I might give her things again, really. Because I do continue to be fond of her and I do continue to be filled with spite and an inability to die.
So let's have ourselves a Homestuck thread.

On other thing I'd like to add I guess is copied from another forum. Namely I came up with an element system for a Homestuck AU of mine. Figured I'd share it here as well. More than fine if people are inspired by it or feel like building off and using it outright.
The four element system is the most common, in that its elements and their basic natures and functions are found through the other larger systems. In fact the larger systems contain derived or dependent elements. Without the first four the other four or eight can't exist. The first four are thus a part of every last thing in the world to some degree or another. Not so either the other potential eight.
Our first element is that of Space. Space is form and matter. Everything that has a form has Space. The Space also is present in the things seemingly without form, such as gases and winds. Space is also the guide of the various rules and laws over these. Things like physics are of the domain of Space, and those who practice it as an Aspect gain the ability to alter and cancel out those rules. Space is literally considered to be, well, Space itself. The cosmos is Space in its most pure state as we can know it.
Next is the element of Breath. Breath is the element of movement and flow. Without Breath nothing can move. It is the Breath that carries along all. So things like wind are obviously Breath. But when you walk, say, your limbs are being moved by small atoms comprised mostly of the element of Breath. Breath is also pressures in the world. If your head feels tense it is because of an overabundance of Breath, for example. Breath weirdly also handles the jobs of what in other element systems may be termed as Water. So Breath is also the glue of the world and that which gives it flow. Breath is literally the wind.
Then there is the element of Light. Light is a weird element. It is the element of fate. Nothing can last forever and all things have their times, as will come up soon. Light is the element that actually guides when those times come. Think of Light as being the lawmaker of causality. Light is present in things like adrenaline rushes that save people from otherwise certain death, as an example of what it can do. Light is also considered quite literally in that it's what illuminates the world. So things like colors are of the domain of Light.
Lastly of the base four there is Time. While Space can be rightly considered life and creation, Time can be rightly considered death and destruction. Time is the ender of all. Each thing in the world has a so-called clock and when the sands of said clock run out the thing ceases to be. However, Time isn't just death. Time is also life in a fashion because Time is heat and energy. Time is the fires of life. All energy, even vital energy, is just a flame and heat. These are stoked by Time. Time is also literally considered to be fire.
In life we have a combination of all four. Time and Space come together to give a being both vital heat and form. Then comes Breath to move the being through Space and Light to move the being through Time.
This is found in all the element systems, with some slight variations here and there.
EDIT: One more note I want to add is that the chief inspiration for this system is the Mahabhuta and lesser bhuta as found in the Pali Abhidhamma. I'm thinking of working on a similar thing for Zelda too because reasons.

Any sort of popculture paganism involving the Homestuck characters and cosmology. The general trend seems to be elevating the kids and trolls to god status. It happens in a fashion quite like hero worship of people like CĂș Chulainn from what I've seen of it. That's personally how I am treating the Handmaid myself. Not a god herself, but being elevated to the status of one through hero worship. Though how others view the exacts of that is a personal thing. Another big thing is the classpect systems. So, from my point of view, the aspect of Space deals with things like birth, creation, physics, and form based on what we've seen in the comic. So, personally, I might send offerings Jade's way if I wanted insight and inspiration on physics for class work. Just as an example. Witchcraftstuck has a lot of stuff on this sort of thing. As does popculturepagan. Cool thing I've noted is that the Homestuck pagans on tumblr at least have holidays set up. The birthdays of the kids are used as their days. Days to honor them and think on them and do stuff for them. Meanwhile the trolls have festivals that match up with the start of the reign of their sign. So Kanaya, Porrim, and the Dolorosa are the Virgo trolls. Virgo starts on August 22nd so that is the date of the Maryam festival. Another thing is people setting up altars and shrines to the characters where offerings are made. I've seen a pretty Megido altar that involved watches, as an example. Watches because the Megido trolls are the Time players of their groups. EDIT for story info: So some explanation of Homestuck itself might be useful. It's a comic where kids play a game that starts the end of their universe and begins the possible creation of a new universe. Winners of this game become gods in the new universe, typically. The game has a sort of class system like found in other games. One can be a Knight, for example. Someone who uses their aspect, a sort of element they use and control, to protect others or as a weapon. Because, well. Knight. So Dave is Knight of Time, so he uses time travel to protect others and wields it as a weapon. Aradia is Maid of Time however, and has been shown to be literally cleaning up the timelines. Damara is a Witch of Time and has been shown to be spooky witch person that people are fucking terrified of because wow timetraveling shewitch. In addition to that each player is split up on one of two moons and planets in the game world. Namely Prospit or Derse. There's a lot of theory about what exactly makes one Prospit or Derse. Alongside that whole thing each player gets a planet handcrafted to fit them and their personal journeys. So Dave ended up on the Land of Heat and Clockwork, or LOHAC. Dave is also a Derse dreamer, and wakes up on the moon of Derse when he sleeps. This along with the planet Skaia, which contains the battleground that this fight for a new universe is fought, make up the space in which players play the game. But the game never gets played properly because Homestuck is a fucking mess.

Okay, that's actually really cool! I wasn't even aware homestuck existed, so I was entirely lost. Thank you for explaining!

Ah, yeah. Homestuck is a webcomic by Andrew Hussie. It's currently on hiatus until he gets the last portions of it finished up. We have been in hiatuses for ages now. Best way I can think of explaining it is like some sort of...cosmic coming of age story based around adventure games (think Myst), programming, music, the internet, and 80's American popular culture. It has some very lovely music on the official soundtracks and a huge fanbase that's created a ton of shit.
