I'm a general polytheist and want to honor every god. But when I read the old writings, the gods fight a lot. So do you take the writings as inerrant like christians do with the bible? Then the gods are not friendly to each other. But if the writings are wrong, where did they come from? The minds of men perhaps. So the gods do keep friendship and do not fight with each other.

This is something I wonder about on occasion - how far do friendships and aggravations extend? In certain 'theisms, they're as infallible as humans but don't have the filter we do (I think I've explained that correctly). Hellenic polytheism being the most well-known for it. While they may not get along 100% of the time, they aren't fighting constantly either, save those that just can't get along for whatever the reason may be.
The Nordic pantheon gets along pretty well until Fates roll the dice and shit happens - be it by Loki's hand or something else that causes him or another to take the fall. I feel like the Gaelic pantheon gets along pretty well, too.
I think it largely depends on the branch in question.
