So as you may or may not know I am still 'recovering' from Wicca. Beltane is coming up and it's supposed to be the most important festival for me, being a sorry attempt at a Belenos devotee. So what's the Gaulish truth of this festival? What can I do to honour the-great-sun-guy-up-in-the-sky?
I found this in the festival resources but it's not very informative.
"Belotenia/Beltenos (May 1) - Festival of the end of winter and the beginning of summer, light, healing, and the otherworld. While I am less certain about this than others, I tend to celebrate Belenos, the fully-crowned god of the sun, and Nemetona, goddess of the sacred grove, during this time"
