Name's David
I'm a hard polytheist who primarily worships the Hellenic Pantheon though not closed off to other deities. I was born in Houston, TX, but grew up in Fresno, CA. I currently live there with my family. My family is a very Christian one. Not blastingly intolerant, but not exactly accepting. I officially came to this path a few weeks ago, but I finally decided to go with my heart a month ago. After researching for my novel, and before reaching out of course. I have had conversations with a decent amount of Gods & Goddesses such as
I've had experiences with others, but I'd just point you to my Tumblr, newpolytheist, if you're curious. Not many posts, but it'll grow I think. I don't feel like adding to this thread any more than I have to, so yeah that's me. I'm here.
- Athena: My main deity. She's been the most vocal and helpful. Awesome to speak to when she decides to respond.
- Ares: Conversations are very direct and to the point. But, seems to pissed and unresponsive right now. Athena assures me it has nothing to do with me (I asked her about it). I assume he's busy.
- Aphrodite: She has been a very positive force in my life. Her insight has been wonderful and helpful in the realm of love.
- Hestia: She is delightful to speak to, but it's hard when your home has so much negative and sealing energy coming from my Christian family. She speaks when she can, but obviously has responsibilities other than little old me.
- Poseidon: He appreciates the respect I have shown him since I was young (I always thought he was cool and powerful). He seems to like me in the way a father likes the friend of his son. He'll give advice, maybe some tasks, but won't do everything for me because I'm not all his.
- Thoth: I've talked to him once. He's surprisingly direct. Kind of unnerving.
