How is everyone on the east coast holding up?
Fun story: the last time a storm of this magnitude hit (the first time I heard Snowmageddon anyways) was when I just got my licensed. Guess who almost died in a blizzard because I refused to be locked inside when I just got my license dammit!!!1!
...I miss the east coast, buuut today was close to 60F in Omaha so I'm not too envious at the moment ^^;

/smacks head against window repeatedly
I mean, I'll be working from home, so, it might not be too bad - provided our power doesn't go out or anything. Boston's smack in one of the 2 feet + ranges, so, I'm just kind of hoping that's a lie.

Oh gosh why would you do that XD
It's not supposed to start snowing here until 10ish but everyone in my family already has a snow day tomorrow.
This never happens and I'm gonna laugh so hard if it turns out to just be flurries like they initially predicted.

I KNOW WHERE THAT IS. One of my really good friends lives there though, so, that's cheating.
My boyfriend is from just outside of Nashua, and likes to call me "comrade" as a pet name and dramatically act like he's "suffocating from lack of freedom" when we drive back in to MA from visiting his parents. He's a cutie...

Ahaha. Most of my family and my bff are all from/in Mass, and I like to tease them about it. It's the official state sport of New Hampshire.

I love that the storm is named Juno when last year's big winter storm on the East Coast was named Janus. You have no idea how happy this makes me on the inside.
Also, IT IS GOING IN CYCLES HERE STILL AND I AM LOVING IT. I also live in the coldest part of the house and it's actually getting colder than normal so I have donned a big comfy sweater, a dangly scarf, and a lit a shrine candle for both extra warmth in my little research nook and a little protection just in case.

Is it wrong to say I'm kinda jealous of you East Coasters? Like, sure, a lot of snow causes issues and can be dangerous, but I love snow with all of my heart and soul. I'm that weirdo who loves winter and hates heat. x3 Here in St. Louis it's just kinda chilly, no snow for us!

TBH I don't know that I could live anywhere else bc it just isn't winter without snow. And we're prepared to deal with it so it usually isn't that bad. Honestly I'd rather have snow than some of the temps we get. Give me 20F and a foot of snow over -20 and no snow any day.

I love the winter, but I love when it snows even more. It's fun to ice skate when it's snowing, I love Alpine skiing, and sledding with my friends is still one of the greatest experiences ever. The only issue is, my father lives in Virginia and works in DC, and he was supposed to travel, but the snow hit earlier than originally forecast so he had to stop and get a room somewhere, and for a while we were all really worried about him.
I love the snow, but it's dangerous. And that's actually part of why I love it, though it makes collecting bones and stuff that much more difficult.

I am a snow-hating grumpy pants. I like looking at a light dusting around Christmastime but otherwise, eurgh. The fact this is my first year with a car that needs digging out and a porch that needs shoveling doesn't really help.
