Hello, I want to honor Baldur and Nanna this Imbloc, since it a holiday to celebrate the light. I know that it isn't a traditional holiday for them, but I was wondering if you think they would mind. I am very new to this path, and still have trouble listening to the Gods. Frigga is the one that called me. Umm.. thanks for your help!

Hello stitchwitch,
Truthfully there is very little in the way of hard facts regarding the exact times and purposes of historical Heathen festivals. In February, you could always observe Dísablot (as it appears historically in parts of Sweden) rather than Imbolc if you wish to preserve the Norse connection. There is also evidence that people would honour the powers when they needed to do so, and while Imbolc is a Gaelic celebration, you are free to honour the gods as and when you see fit. When we honour the gods we give them power so in my opinion they should not take offence. Think of a good friend and ask yourself, would my friend mind if I choose to celebrate with them on any given day? Of course not (but do not forget their birthday too hah!).
I hope that helps,
Til års og fred
