Hi folks, Ekunyi here, though I'm also known as Saryt (short for Sarytsenuwi). Either works for me, as both hold a fair amount of personal and spiritual significance. I'm 26, partnered to an awesome person I generally refer to as "A," bisexual, genderfluid (female to agendered/neutral, [edited] she/her as pronouns are fine), and... that's plenty of labels. ^_^;
I've been a Kemetic for about four years now, formally a Shemsu with the House of Netjer/Kemetic Orthodoxy for the past two of those.
I primarily worship Set and Bast, though also honor Heru-wer, Hethert-Nut, and Heqat on a daily basis, with Hatmehyt and Sekhmet as frequent, always welcome, "visitors" to my shrine and home.
I have also added some significant ancestral work in the past year, which mostly involves grave tending, the (*cough*improved*cough*) upkeep of an akhu (blessed dead) shrine, and an exploration of my Irish heritage by honoring certain mythic Irish figures (though no gods, as of yet).
When I'm not doing spiritual work, I can often be found writing/recording/performing songs, sculpting, researching, or gaming. I'm also currently in a master's program training to be a clinical mental health counselor.
Anywho! Very glad to be here, looking forward to meeting new folks and getting to know those I've already had the pleasure of meeting a bit better.

Allec - All sorts! My absolute favorites tend to be action RPGs (Bioware and Lionhead Studios both own small shares of my soul at this point), but more traditional JRPGs are also great. Favorite game of all time would be the first Dragon Warrior Monster series because nostalgia. <3 How about you? Cass - Yay musicians indeed! A lot of my songs tend to be devotional, but I do some genuinely goofy stuff too. I predominantly sing and play percussion, but am working on leveling up my guitar skills as well. This is my current general music project with my partner A (http://familiarmusic.bandcamp.com/releases) if you're curious! I've also got a purely Kemetic project going with my sibling and zir partner called DUA (http://catfolk.org/album/dua) -- my songs are tracks 1-4 and 8 on that album. What's your music like? Mivi - Em hotep and *waves a lot*! Good to see you as well! <3

I'm actually pretty meh towards RPGS, much to my fiance's disappointment! I tend to know about them by watching others play (eg: I watched a play through of Chronotrigger!) Instead, I like more adventure games like Legend of Zelda and Borderlands (As an aside, I just wanted to point out that pronouns don't have genders assign to them, since people who aren't female use she/her as their pronouns and people who aren't male use he/him as their pronouns )

(My apologies on the pronoun commentary in my opening post. I admit, this is a new one on me to not have she/he associated with female/male respectively in part because my genderqueer (of a broad variety of gender identities, so we'll go with that term though obviously it's not the preferred for everyone) loved ones have found them offensive/hurtful/wrong for precisely those associations. But I will certainly adjust for all future discussion of gender and pronouns, and have edited my post above to reflect what you've said here. Thank you for letting me know!)

(Thank you! We're all learning. I just learned recently I'm not 100% a woman so it's new to me too.)
