I'm sure this is a standard topic on any polytheist/pagan forum, but we should have one here for reasons. I'll start it off. Here's my outdoor shrine to na déithe ("the gods" in modern Irish). I change the cotton braid each festival and burn it with my offerings. I eventually want to add a wooden triskell, a lantern, and a large-ish stone bowl for a "well". Here is my indoor shrine to the ancestors and house spirits/gods. The musket was made by of my grandfathers, whom I never got to meet. The statue of "Lugh" is used to depict the Ancestors.

I love the outdoor shrine I want one. I have two; they started out as one but it ended up outgrowing the space for it and part of it migrated over to the windowsill: So this one is my general little altar to the gods and fair folk, featuring a tealight hearth, shot glass offering bowl, and stress cow. And a close up of the mini altar tin: I don't know what the little beady thread thing is but it was a meditative/devotional thing I did so. And then the original one to the ancestors and Manannan: It's on my bureau in what's basically the centerpoint of my room, so it's as close to an actual hearth location as I can manage. And sharing duty as my hearth: Jack-o-lantern tea light holder and dragon tea pot yeah.

Here's my shrine right now, it's a bit temporary while I work on the larger art piece that will replace it in a month or two, but I'm actually pretty happy with it in the meantime. The little doll in front is my handmade Brigid doll, and the leaf is a personal devotional symbol. It's actually on a pin, once I finish weaving in the ends of my brat Bríde I can use the pin to close it when I wear it. The big wide candle in front is my "hearth" for the Three, and then the other three candles are, from left, for Goibniu, Flidais, and Brigid. They all have a different scent and are really excellent together when I light all four - Goibniu's is roasted hazelnut & brown ale, Flidais' is amber woods (kind of a woody, sultry smell), and Brigid's is lavender & cassis. The large one smells a bit like a log fire! I make offerings on my own dishes, especially whenever I make hot drinks I make one for me and one for the Three and then serve Them first, today it's earl gray tea with milk and local honey.

Papyrus painting of Djehuty (brought it from Egypt in 2010 - my first journey) General shrine setup in 2014 (things have changed since) The painting with Thoth and Maat on the left is unfinished. The artist has died before finishing it. His wife gave it to me. Unfortunately, the painting was also damaged with water and needs very expensive restoration. The rocks are brought from different temples in Egypt. Statues and papyrus paintings are from Egypt too, small plastic figure of Thoth is from Louvre museum. My personal stela from Egypt :) The text of the hymn is mine, translation into hieroglyphics is done not by me, though. The drawing of Djehuty with a devotee is made by my another friend, especially for me. ( The text of the hymn in english, if you are curious what's written here) ++ New statue of Isis, also brought from Egypt recently Statues of Khonsu (from Germany), Thoth, and new aroma lamp (from Egypt) yes, I love fancy-shrine-building and soon (hopefully) there will be something more :)

I spent time down by the ocean last week (hence the radio silence) and felt moved to set up some shrines on the beaches I visited, for Manawydan and/or any other ocean gods:

Wow, veritywhitethorn - I love the idea of setting up temporary shrines to sea deities on the beach. And the way you've done it is beautiful!

Oh god I can smell that shrine veritywhitethorn. The most lovely feelings of ocean are running through me now. A beach shrine, temporary or no, is definitely a thing I want to do at some point. Or visit.
The ocean means a lot to me.

I have a kamidana dedicated to Benzaiten-sama. It has its own shrine in the southern corner of my room. I'm still tinkering with it. I have a paper over it that I marked with the character for "cloud" (proper protocol for a kamidana not on a top floor). I have vessels for offerings and greenery, though I'm always hunting for better ones. I'm just rather stumped as to how I'm supposed to get the shimenawa?

This is my shrine. As a shrine enthusiast, the incarnation was a long time in the making. I once used a lamp as my central candle and surrounded it with seasonal fripperies, and then when I was abroad, I did the whole symmetrical Gods image surrounded by plants and electric candles, etc. and that was followed by a mandala-style altar setup that had significant colors and symbols on each cardinal direction. The picture shows how it is now (please ignore all the unfinished drinks on the side). I always use scented candles as my "god candle" to use a Wiccan phrase. The scents are based on the season we're in, and within those parameters, what keeps me spiritually focused. I light it whenever I want to talk with Brighid, or just be in her presence. The cup and the coins are actually Estonian, but since I got them from a friend, and they're special to me. Plus, the cup is good for keeping sained water. The backpiece was something another friend painted for me for my birthday. Also, that tin whistle in the back is dreadfully under-utilized. I may eventually set up a separate shrine for the ancestors. Currently in the offering tray (yegads, that's filthy) is a whisker my kitten shed recently, so I've offered it to Brighid to ask that she protect him. Not shown here, but in the ash-tray of my car, I have a shell that I found on a river bank that felt right picking up, and I use that as a visual reminder that I'm in Manannan's realm, as it were, when I'm in a vehicle. Also not shown, the space on the side of the house where I leave my offerings for the land spirits. It's undecorated, but it's in a secluded spot and it's very pretty, landscaping-wise.
