Finally got (bad iPhone photos) of my main shrine. My two other shrines are outside by bedroom, with family over I don't want to draw attention to them.
My main altar is dedicated to The Morrigan and then also has ancestor/Aos Sí related things on the side, which I want to eventually move onto the hearth because boy this altar is crowded.
Whole altar plus supplies in shelves below plus my cane plus stacked ottomans with stuff you should ignore on top. Bless this mess.
Close up of The Morrigan part. The crow has one eye, I bought it YEARS ago after Halloween at a dollar store and it has been sitting in my mother's closet until I made this altar. Kinda hard to see because it's covered in stuff but there is a piece of wood that seemed perfect for Permanent Offerings/Altar Decoration. Most of these things are pieces of wood I've picked up during walks along with a red rock and some feathers. Bowl is for holding both liquid and solid offerings (and gas too, I guess)
Forgot to mention the crow's eyes light up, but I don't turn it on because I have no idea how long the battery'll last. Maybe I should incorporate that into offerings, or Samhain celebrations.
The Morrigan's candle is a uh, Paula Deen branded candle (it was given to me, okay) that smells like cherry pie. Probably not the most invoking candle but shush, it smells so good.
Behind it is a candleholder my mom gave me for my birthday that I was so excited about because DO YOU SEE THE TRISKELE AT THE BOTTOM?!?! She didn't even realize it when she bought it either. Planning to use it to represent Land, Sea, and Sky and the seasons by switching votive candles around (those up there are obviously unusable right now because no votive holders) but right now Woodland, Bluebonnet, and Wildflower scented candles will have to serve as a visual representation.
Here's the Ancestor/Aos Sí side but you can also see my necklace (bought here) and my incense holder (it belonged to my grandfather)
I put the flowers there to decorate for Samhain and then just.... Left them there. They're from my great-grandmother's funeral.
A close up of the Aos Sí/Fae part. I worry it might be too stereotypically fairy/fluffy and often wonder if I should have started giving offerings to them at all... I've been lacking. My offerings have usually been liquid, poured into the "pitcher" and then into the cup. Water, hard liquor (that's the only alcohol I have), and fruit juices are what I've given.
