Hello everyone, I'm Kaye. I'm from Australia, and exist in a few places on the net as Kaye, savvy, or savveir. I think I had a polytheist mindset from the beginning in my spirituality, it did make my brief attempt at Wicca all the more awkward for me (the hole thing felt weird to me, just not suited I guess). Since then I liked the idea of eclecticism, but was worried about "doing it wrong", I drifted through a lot of mythology trying to figure out what worked. I found Kemeticism after a while, and quite enjoyed it and much of the philosophy within it. However, I got prodded by some slavic stuff and that has long since taken over, though I don't feel like I left Kemetic things, they're just shelved for a while until I can figure out how to get things going together. Since I've been letting that mix percolate, I've found myself becoming more comfortable with eclecticism and a growing interest in Pop-culture Paganism that I'm far to awkward/shy to talk about much Aside from all of this stuff, I'm a few months away from being a high school teacher, I'm also an artist, crafter, and general hobby magpie. I quite like gaming, particularly GW2 at the moment. I'm an avid gardener, I seem to collect odd and interesting plants such as the mandrake I've been tending for a few years now. I also enjoy cooking and baking, particularly when I can share it with people. Anyway, that's me, I hope to get to know you all better.

The subject areas I'll be trained in is Arts and Humanities, so I could end up in a lot of different subjects, including some I'd rather avoid, but that's just how it works here. I'd definitely love to teach Visual Arts, I did a major in fine art and just love it. My other major in in philosophy, however that isn't always offered as a subject (but it should be!), I also enjoy teaching history. I tend to ramble a bit about teaching, I'm one of those idealistic "want to make a difference" student teachers.

Welcome! I'm a bit late to the party, but do you have any suggestions for Slavic Polytheist blogs to either follow or steer clear of?
