Standard introduction really, I'm new! You can call me Iron or Bes. Loosely speaking, I'm celtic pagan though open about my beliefs, also on the path of green witchcraft. I dunno what to call myself to them as they've only recently made themselves known to me, but they are Cernunnos and Flidais. How I came on to this path happened ever since I was small. Church never did it for me and when I saw healing shops and witchy stalls and stuff like that it looked so much more fascinating, like a magnetic pull. I always used to say if I wasn't Christian I'd be pagan but that's bad and goes against the bible. (I cringe at the things I said "in the name of the bible" as a child.) As I got older I came to realise that being open minded and accepting of other faiths and religions was good and ok and not bad, that just because someone had a different belief system to you didn't suddenly make it awful. I then gradually met more people within pagan and witch communities and understood where I was happiest. Unfortunately now I'm becoming so pagan it's harder to hide it from my family, who would more likely disown me for being polytheistic than liking men and women. (It sounds alarming but it isn't, I'm comfortable with my situation and would be able to handle it if they did know.) I have a tumblr blog for all my findings and useful tidbits, which is rosemarywitch. Outside of my faith, I work with horses, as well as draw, write, and play nerdy games. I have a fascination with herbs and flowers, and hope to live on a canal boat soon. Reasons for joining? Learning, support (my community is very Christian), practice etc etc. I especially would love to know if there's anyone here who knows or is a devotee to Flidais. I'm stumped on what kind of offerings to give her. Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and to meet you all.

There's a tumblr blog dedicated to Flidias here! I know of a variety of offerings people have given her, but you can ask the blog for a list they go with. ( TheModernSouthernPolytheist runs the blog and is very helpful and kind!) What kind of nerdy games do you play? I play quite a bit

wickedlittlecritta- Yep! I'm an apprentice at a holistic therapy riding and livery yard, as well as learning natural horsemanship. I keep pondering on the thought of making a little shrine to Epona somewhere. Allec- Thank you, this is going to prove to be exceptionally helpful! Games I love playing tend to be the story driven kind and mmorpg. So games like Jedi Knight Academy and Outcast, Skyrim, Lord of the Rings online, Borderlands 2, Assassin's Creed and I have a soft spot for Minecraft and Goat Simulator.

I keep pondering on the thought of making a little shrine to Epona somewhere. Oh, I volunteered at a holistic therapy barn for a while! It was such a cool thing. I do some vaguely NH stuff too, but I don't use the term so much anymore, since most people I know irl who use it are incredibly annoying/preachy and I don't want to be associated with that, lol. I've been toying with the idea of an Epona shrine too, but since I'm mainly Irish focused and she never really made it over there it feels kind of weird. Who knows though. For now most of my pony stuff goes to Brigid, since they're part of my household. She doesn't seem to mind, lol.

Hey there! I'm sorry this comes awfully late, playing catchup today. Welcome to the forum!
I honor Flidais in my practice, although Johnathan knows quite a bit more than I do so he's probably the best to check in with. But, in my UPG, I like to offer Flidais fruit-related things - fruit teas are nice, cranberry biscuits, that sort of thing. I also associate Her with a lot of woodsy, sultry scents so my candle for Her is an amber / cedar mix.

I'll actually (hopefully) be getting a bonsai tree or two soon so I hope both she and Cernunnos approve of them, I do feel like they'd be appropriate for a non-descript altar/shrine for them. It's trying to work out offerings that won't go off or smelly. Although Flidais is from the Tuatha de Danaan, I was wondering if that means she'd be related to the Fair Folk and like offerings that would be typical to give them like milk/cream/honey. So much to learn @-@ But I already love this place and you're all so brilliant!

So I'll ask someone to maybe chime in who knows a bit more / has thought about this in more depth ( Ciar Lionheart ?), but the Tuatha Dé are at least tangentially related to the Fair Folk - lore and opinions differ on whether they ARE the Fair Folk, maybe something a bit more separate, but they're definitely together in the overall group of entities that Gaelic polytheism honors. Milk, cream, and honey are all really great traditional offerings! If you take a peek in the Gaelic Polytheism section there's a devotional recipes thread, I would highly recommend the roasted maple apple recipe for Her with some honey mixed in. It's great with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream as well.

I tend to view the Tuatha Dé as being the faeries' folk heroes and/or ancient ancestors—I believe they're fey gods, though I wouldn't necessarily describe them as "the fey" themselves. I know very little about Flidais, but based on that alone cream and honey would make excellent offerings. I'd also likely be inclined to reach for woodland fruits and berries, or clear water.
