Yeah, this probably is just Aspergers forgetting all I learned, but really, what do you actually do? I can't pract yet, but I feel if here we make a simple thing it will help me and many others as well. By this I mean, what are the requirements to do, well, Gaelic. I hate I can't practice honestly, and my only offerings are artworks, be it physically as in making things or etc, or by poem or song, but I think I'm missing something because not really anything is happening, I have deep devotions and feelings no doubt, as you all know, and I guess sometimes feel them, but they seem silent. I have been saying I want to know you to the phantom queens, and that they can get boastful, but still nothing really. I completely understand they aren't always going to be there, but still, to know the basics really might help.

I would say you're doing much more then I am if you're offering artworks and songs! Silence is par for the course for them, in my experience. When I do something they don't like, I know. I would suggest divination to see if your offerings were accepted or if they're around.
I honestly don't do as much as I should. Mental health is making me isolate from everyone pretty bad right now, and I guess that includes gods too. But I try to do small offerings like lighting candles or foods I can put in a dish without it attracting anything or rotting. When I go outside I might pick up rocks or fallen bark I feel drawn to and put it on an altar. A lot of mundane actions can be rituals; try to see what things you already do in your life can be dedicated to them.
Recently I've been thanking them and Brigid for the coming of spring and for everything growing back greener then I've remembered in recent months due to all the rain/snowmelt recently. Where I live is experiencing a major drought, though my area just got demoted from exceptional to extreme. I'm thinking of drowning all the offerings I've made over the winter into the Trinity River and asking for more rain and growth, especially for farmers around the area.

Mainly, above, I feel that what I do isn't enough, for the devotions are there, but I never actually truely interacted with anyone or anything. Be it gods, fae, or ancestors. I gave near 10+ things to the Queens, 6 art, and a lot of poems and songs, but she still seems silent. Feelings are definitely there. As I said. This isn't turning me, but I feel I'm missing something.
What is the basics really needed to Gaelic Pol. The rites? Etc? I can't really now, but if I can, heck I will try my best since I have such a powerful love for all the three, gods ansestors and fae, and especially the Phantom Queens I heav focus on.

Lol, we answered at the same time . I have Aspergers so I cam commiserate. Thanks for the tip too. And what you say sounds beautiful. I have some house restrictions that's all. Art and song is one thing, things more so gets harder. I have problems with divination, so what should I do there?

(Sorry for not quoting, I couldn't figure out how to just quote a sentence. I haven't been on forums for awhile!)
If you have trouble with divination you might see if any friends could do a reading for you? Some people on tumblr will have free sessions for practicing (or you could buy a reading if you're able). However I've never had someone do a reading about this for me (or visa versa) and most of the situations I've heard of have been close friends? Maybe someone can chime in on if this worked for them or any other solutions.

I'm SO glad you asked this Adolphus because this is something we haven't discussed yet and has been on my mind! The way I do things depends on my mental health. When things get bad, I can't do what I would have wanted because I am struggling to just get out of bed. So at the worst of worst days, I try to just keep the mindset of how beautiful the world is, how much the gods mean to me, and be thankful. When I do better, I try to give offerings as I can. This usually is liquid based ones like tea or even just water. I've gotten that part down, so I'm going to try to do morning and evening prayers tied around electric candles I have--so I can do hearth prayers (I'll probably write this up and blog about it, then link it here.) On festivals, I try to do something small for each and if I can, build from that. Take Beltane for instance: I always try to bless my cat and get new spring water. This year I'm going to try to add on top of that and maybe even have a party with some friends. In regards to feeling like there's radio silence... That happens a lot. I had that feeling for a while, even after feeling like I had connections made, and it really hurts. If you want, I can do some divination for you either with cards or even using my oracle stones? Also, you may be interested in the KRT's discussion on " fallow time" which was helpful for me.

I think it's weird how my fallows work, it seems to happen on and off each other week. But yeah, I'd love thee oracle stone idea since I feel it's more cultural if you don't mind. I haves big story to share that happened today, but I have to get it on Tommorow when I have the time. It may be an answer from the Queens, no idea though. Spoiler: it involved 3-4 crows at one branch group at the same time. But there's like a whole page to it I'll quote from my journal . So powerful things in fact, I gained a fear based on the possibility I could not eassilly do what I thought was needed. Can't wait to share it .

Personally, I don't ever "hear" things from my deities. I get feelings, but that's all the communication I ever have and all I ever expect to have. I work intuitively a lot, so I spend a fair bit of time sort of interpreting my feelings to elaborate them into "messages" or desires and whatnot. If something "feels right" I assume it is. If it's wrong, I tend to have a very visceral reaction to it.
In terms of practice, I mainly just try to embody the Irish virtues and worldview in my everyday life. I am hospitable to those who come seeking my help; I am honest in all my dealings and speech; I behave honourably as best I can and don't take shit from anyone who tries to trample on my rights. I say a short informal prayer every night before I go to bed (I'm a devotee of six deities and I interact with my local fey and the Wild Hunt, so I have one night a week for each of them). I do small rituals, blessings, and offerings for the feast days. I also, as an aspect of hospitality, do my best to keep my house clean and my roommates fed—I like to cook, and I often share food with them.
I give offerings as thanks for answered prayers and when I ask for something specific—usually just crackers, bread, honey, mead, that sort of thing. Sometimes tea or candy or salt. Occasionally flowers. I've never had to spend much money to do so (which is good, because I don't have much) and I've never felt that my efforts were unappreciated. I also occasionally write poetry or make devotional mixes, and anytime I work with ogham I give thanks to Ogma.
I think the best thing to do really is just to keep doing it. Don't get too hung up on procedure or rituals. The Gaelic deities are not, in my experience, the type to hover over you and offer constant reassurance—they're much more interested in seeing you stand on your own metaphorical feet.

I second Ciar, it's about walking the walk. Honestly it sounds like you're already a practicing polytheist. You make prayers, give offerings. Just give it time, you'll gain your stride.

When it comes to the De ocus an-De, I mainly give offerings. I'm not so good with the prayers part. I have some written down, from a few sources, but I don't often 'feel' pre-written prayers so I tend not to say very much out loud. There's one from the Carmina Gadelica that I say at the end of the day at my shrine, if I remember to. Offerings followed by sitting and meditating at their shrines is my main god-focused practice.
For the ancestors and spirits, I leave offerings in different ways - food that they would have liked for the ancestors, milk with honey in for the Good Folk, gardening for other land spirits, and as much walking in the local parks (and making water offerings to trees there) as I can manage. They're all fairly simple practices really. The only deity I hear from directly is Beara, as I'm dedicated to her, and then only in odd pictures and snatches of things most of the time. With the other deities, it's usually a case of doing Ogham or tarot divination to get a sense of what they're saying.
