So if I'm not mistaken Beltane is coming up soon, yes? Anyone have plans for the holiday? I would love to hear what people are up to!

Setting alcohol on fire. There's more to it than that but.
Things need to be set on fire, yo. And I can't exactly set up a bonfire because reasons.
Also going to use rp shenanigans as a way to share Bealtaine things with people.

I'm doing a thing where I'm inviting some people over who are open to polytheism (and/or are polytheists) so we can celebrate. I plan on making some traditional Irish dishes (not traditional to the day, but just things that are from Ireland) and whatnot. I'm a bit nervous because I've never hosted something like this before, and Bealtaine is one of my "weakest" holidays to celebrate, so we'll see what happens!
I also plan to do my own ritual the day of. Not sure what I'll be doing exactly...probably burning something... I also bless my cat with holy water I collect. I got something to gather water for my deck, so I can actually get the first "well" water.
I also need to write up about Bealtaine for this board. Maybe that'll be my weekend project...

I'll turn my fireplace on for the first time in years. I'm planning to give a bigger offering than usual, but I'm not sure what it will be yet. I've been working on a devotional poem that I'll offer up with the food. Nothing I do will be extravagant, but I prefer it that way.

I don't know for sure if I'm going to do this, because I do not have money. But I'm thinking of doing a picnic or similar for my friends out at the park by our place. If I can manage to put something together it would be really cool, otherwise I'll probably just do my usual of lighting a bunch of candles and making offerings and blessing my cat.

Last year I got the first water from our tap (which is technically well water), but I don't think I'll be able to get up early/stay up early enough to do it this year. Otherwise though, I'll probably light some candles and maybe bless my ponies once I get home from work. Or maybe I'll just shift all my celebrations to Saturday instead, lol.
edit bc I forgot the word "well"

I'm going to a Wiccish ritual with my NeoWiccan circle. We'll do something Wiccish, I think, since it's led by NeoWiccans. Wiccish NeoWiccans.
....Wicca.
Joking aside, this group is actually pretty awesome. We're having a barbecue and crafts!

I'll probably work on my garden a bit more, make a new ribbon for my bíle shrine and light a bonfire. A friend might come over for a few pints and if the wife isn't looking (the prayer of every daring spouse) I'm gonna jump the fire.

I'll probably sleep most of the day, since work has decided to give me an inconsistent schedule that is completely fucking up my sleeping schedule. Maybe cluster a bunch of candles and have a version of an indoor bonfire if I can stay awake for a few hours.

I'm still figuring out exactly what I want to do, but I'm going to be making some baked goods for my coworkers and bringing them a little history lesson which should be super fun! And I'll definitely be lighting lots of candles around the house and doing lots of cleaning and organizing. I'm thinking about replacing dinner for Dan and I with lots of fruity desserts, and going to eat them out on the porch if it's nice :9

For me? Idk what I'm doing yet, if I'm celebrating at all. I will probably be working, but I'll try and light a couple of candles and give offerings to my gods. :3

I like the collecting water and blessing cats ideas. I'll probably have a bonfire. These days I tend to celebrate these things alone, sadly

These are a bunch of great ideas, I think I will borrow the lighting as many candles around the house idea in lieu of a bonfire C:
I also plan on continuing to deep clean my apartment, run to my local co-op to adopt some plant babies, and possibly cook something for my roomies (they're also pagan*/open to polytheism)
Hope everyone has a Happy Beltane!
