Mine is going well though it has to be simple. Very simple. House has been sained. Food is being made and has been made. And will continue to be made. Branches and candles have to do as my bonfire and hearth because reasons. Also I'm using the time to have my one dumb RP character gone on about Bealtaine. So I can teach people about the holiday.
Through silly Homestuck RP.

Bealtaine's a bit funky for me this year since I'm not at my home, and let's face it, I was too worn out to have anything special planned, but tomorrow (the 2nd), my mother and I are going to this public garden in the mountains, so that should be some nice quality time with my family and the spirits. And I'm gonna leave a whiskey offering for Brighid overnight because hell, it's a holiday, and I normally don't have whiskey.
But a joyous Bealtaine to everyone (all three hours of it left in my time zone).

Happy Bealtaine to all! I've done absolutely nothing this year I need to do something over the next week. I'm just not feeling very inspired. Bealtaine is really not 'my' festival - I do a lot of the associated things at Imbolc instead, which resontates much more with me. I'll try to at least celebrate the beginning of summer over the next week or so.

My day yesterday was really lovely! I brought in goodies for my coworkers and gave them a little history about the holiday, which then set off a "who can pronounce Bealtaine better" contest, hahaha. My boyfriend Dan and I had a really nice dinner after work, too - I'd made some fancy desserts but he got pretty into it and brought home a really nice dinner and some flowers for me to decorate my shrine with. He's agnostic, but it's super nice that we can share these things now. I'm continuing my celebrations a bit today with a big clean-the-house session which I think is going to also turn in to declutter-and-get-rid-of-lots-of-stuff. And I'd bought white wine and some things to make a punch for yesterday, but Dan and I decided to save it for tomorrow when it's actually going to be sunny and warm.

I celebrated yesterday by blessing my cat (who was super chill while getting water splashed on her--I guess she's gotten use to my antics!), cleaning the apartment, making a May Bush, and having friends over for dinner and games. It sounds like a lot but everything was done super simply so it felt very relaxing.

Hey guys! Hope you all had a pleasant Bealtaine Unfortunately I did not celebrate with anything specific. I did go out on Thursday to hit some golf balls on the driving range for the first time in years, so I got to enjoy the weather and have a little fun. Yesterday (Friday) I was out all day with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. It was a lovely two days, so I consider Bealtaine a success even though I did nothing related to Bealtaine. During this week I'm planning on doing some Bealtaine activities. Going to clean the house piece by piece, find some plants or flowers to keep on my shrine, and have some sort of fire. Oh, did I mention to you guys that I have a shrine now? Cause I have a shrine now! ^_^

Yeah. For me, I couldn't do much because I was at most unable to (be it by the house and also, well, I didn't know it was the 30th ?). Anyways, I'm sure soon enough I can actually do my first festival in Gaelic Pol, and I'll probably go so out on it because well I'd be free from the chains of limitation for the first time and probably be already hyped for my religion to start with at that time. And btw, I'm glad all of you had a great Bealtaine!

I didn't do a whole lot for it, being that I was at work the day of, but I did some cleaning and took my pony for a walk on Saturday.

I didn't do anything but work. Sadly. I feel kind of guilty but I'll try and come up with something to do over this next week if i have time.
