Hey all!
So I recently discovered Patheos.com and their Pagan channel (a word I know some dislike using) and I was wondering if that's a site I need to tread lightly on when reading articles/blog posts (given the titles of some of those Popular at Patheos Pagan articles, who knows, maybe "No Such Thing As Cultural Appropriation" is clickbait). Has anyone come across any authors who write consistently good stuff?

Has anyone come across any authors who write consistently good stuff? I'm a regular reader of patheos. No, it's not a site you have to tread lightly on. In fact sometimes the bloggers will call each other out and there can be some spirited discussions in readers' comments. For a Neopagan site it does have a mix of bloggers. Though political correctness and activism are most heavily represented among its regular contributors and the article you're referring to was in part response to other articles. The fact bloggers are not censored and can publish different views is a good thing.

Awesome, thanks! I've been trying to find non-Tumblr blogs to read (in order to broaden my horizons). Are there any blogs then that you particularly love?

I agree with Callisto. The blog has various view points, which helps when topics come up. I tend to find myself agreeing with some articles, disagreeing with others, but they always get me to think. As for a certain blogger, none pop to mind immediately. I can now say I've met the blogger behind Heathen at Heart, but as I'm not heathen I haven't read much of their blog. "Under the Ancient Oaks" blogger John Beckett is a popular one, but I seem 50/50 on what he posts ( here's one such time I disagreed with his blog post.) I do recommend Daughters of Eve, though I don't actively follow it, because it does provide the perspective of women of color in paganism which is often overlooked. Who else...Oh! I roomed with Gwion, blogger of The Witches Next Door, at Many Gods West and went to his presentation. Excellent person...I should read more of his blogs... Anyway! That's my experience. I've seen to have met more people who have blogs on Patheos than I actively read...

Morgan Daimler's blog is pretty good, and the bit of Happily Heathen that i've read has been excellent. and i just found out they have a blog for pagans with disabilities! haven't read much of that one though so can't say if it's any good. i feel like there's at least one other i read sometimees, but can't think of it :\ if you're looking for other non-tumblr blogs to read, i'd definitely recommend Mopheus Ravenna's blog.

I feel similar to Allec. I read various bloggers there and whether I agree or disagree with them usually depends on the given article.
