Hey, guys!

I have a friend who's interested in what kind of omen hawks are. He's throwing it out to all world-views, not just the Celtic/Irish ones that I could provide (with a metric ton of research) - and who else would be so knowledgeable but the PCC board?

He's only interested in hawks - not so much falcons or eagles. (Personal reasons, obvs.)

What a good question... Does your friend have any associations he makes with hawks? In my opinion, omens convey in symbols we understand. For example, when I think of hawks, I think of leadership, insightful-ness, powerful and strong, tactical advantages, etc.

Love this guy to death, but he's very plug-and-pray at this time, despite my best efforts to draw him out of that shell.

I think he's hoping to look at a variety of mythological sources in addition to actual biological notations on the subject and blend the two together to form what this omen means to him. I think. I think.
