So I think I did this correctly? I apologize if I didn't, but... on here I pulled the handle littlecatsidhe out of thin air, whereas on Tumblr I use themorrigansson. Please call me Luc, it's pronounced like "Luke" if you're having troubles with that. I run Gaelicology both on WordPress and Tumblr, the second being my dumpsite if I'm having trouble accessing WP. I can also be found on Solia Online if anyone uses that (I was desperate for interaction, it's relatively amusing). I've been a Gaelic polytheist now for a little over two years, and my interest in paganism and polytheism actually started because of a fictional series called The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott and a character based off of the Morrigna.
Outside of polytheism, I'm big into research. Like, general research on any topic that strikes my fancy. I'm always doing some sort of research into mythology, and usually something to do with language, but there are any number of additional topics added in as well. I love to read, and if I'm not reading a novel I've got my nose in some form of fanfiction, usually the longest pieces I can find. I was recently in college but had to drop out due to finances, though I also just really hated the format of the particular college I was at, I was an anthropology student and I still consider myself an anthropology hobbyist - I'm actually working with a past professor to see if I can still qualify as a student member of the local anthropology organization. I love cooking and baking, and I use it as a form of therapy. Recently I've been trying my hand at sweet breads, and I've learned that greasing surfaces works better than flouring them, and that after the allotted amount of flour is used but more is still needed, mixing in equal portions of confectioner's sugar and flour helps to prevent a floury flavor once the breads are baked. I garden year round, a little inside during winter, and then outside the rest of the year, mostly things I can use in cooking, and always lavender because I love adding that to chocolate chip cookies, vanilla cheesecake crust, and peppermint hot chocolate.
I have issues with anxiety, narcolepsy, and I struggled with dyscalculia so please, please, please do not ask me to do anything regarding numbers because I most likely will botch it up and I'll be too embarrassed to speak for several days following. If any of my posts show that they've been edited, it's because I'm a bit of a nut about my writing and I try to maintain correct grammar.
